JOSEPH ANDERSON
President & Chief Executive Officer
 

Joe Anderson is a visionary leader with unparalleled global experience. Following a successful career in the US Army where he commanded Infantry units from company through Corps-level, Joe gained additional business and management experience with Wynnchurch Capital, Beacon Global Strategies, McKinsey & Company, Sequoia Holdings, Dataminr, SNA International, Chart Group, MW Group and SOS International. He has a well-earned reputation of driving results and managing complexity while building teams and networks along the way.

 

A graduate of the United States Military Academy, Joe also earned a Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Master of Arts degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the US Naval War College. Additionally, he attended the Senior Executive Education Course at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He was a visiting professor at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and the George Washington Library Leadership Institute.

 

His leadership experience is recognized internationally for honor, merit, service, peacekeeping and defense cooperation. His selfless service continues as Chairman of the Board for Our Community Salutes and as a Director for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, Patton Veterans Project, and Feherty’s Troops First Foundation.

ERIC BROWN
Chief Technology Officer
 

Eric Brown is a proven senior leader and manager with over 25 years of analytical expertise supporting global operations, budgets, policy, capability development and talent management. Eric has successfully led diverse workforces in high-paced, demanding environments on both the Army and Joint Staffs.

 

He is a graduate of Morgan State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and the Naval Postgraduate School with a Master of Science Degree in Operations Research and Systems Analysis.

​

Eric is a subject matter expert in requirements-based capability development and the Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process. He is a strategic minded leader that leverages analytics and his strong functional expertise to deliver data driven, resourced informed decisions that translate into effective cost saving solutions.

MARC SHEPARD
Chief Growth Officer
 

Marc leads strategic growth, partnerships, and market expansion across the United States defense sector. In this role, he works closely with U.S. government customers, prime contractors, and industry partners to deliver Rafael’s combat-proven defense technologies and sustainment capabilities to the U.S. market. With more than two decades of leadership experience in the defense industry, Shepard brings deep expertise in advanced military systems, strategic program execution, and building high-performing teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities to the warfighter.

Prior to joining RSGS, Shepard spent nearly 23 years with General Dynamics Land Systems, where he held multiple senior leadership positions across major U.S. ground combat vehicle and mission systems programs. His experience spans large-scale defense program management, survivability and C4ISR integration, cybersecurity, vehicle protection systems, and advanced capability development. Known for bridging technical depth with strategic business leadership, Shepard has consistently led complex defense initiatives while strengthening collaboration across government, industry, and the broader defense industrial base.

ROBERT WEAVER
Director, SPIKE Business Unit
 

Rob Weaver is a senior executive with more than 25 years’ experience growing and developing business opportunities, while leading large diverse defense organizations. He brings wide-ranging national security, defense experiences and demonstrated multinational experience, including strategic planning and communication at the Army and joint level.

 

He graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mineral Economics. Rob earned a Master of Science Degree in the Management of Technology from Murray State University and a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College.

 

Rob is a subject matter expert in supply chain management to include procurement and acquisition experience. He is skilled at delivering optimal solutions, solving complex problems, collaborating across multiple organizational levels and leading cross functional teams.

STEVE MCKISSOCK
Director, Air & Missile Defense and Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (Counter-UAS)
 

Steve McKissock is a proven leader with over 20 years of experience in the defense industry, most notably in the field artillery and combat aviation sectors. Steve joined the team in 2020 as a Master Gunner consultant, and since then, has grown to serve in multiple positions within the company.

 

Steve has a BS in Business Management and is currently pursuing his MBA. During his military tenure, Steve graduated from multiple senior NCO courses, including Bradley Master Gunner and Joint Firepower Course.

 

A widely renowned industry expert, Steve has trained numerous military and civilian personnel around the globe and has been trained on almost every RSGS product and service, demonstrating acute technical and tactical knowledge with precision and professionalism.

JEFF CARR
Director, Indirect Fires Protection Capability
 

Jeff Carr joins the RSGS team with 34 years of engineering and program management experience from the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Center.  Mr. Carr was a principle member of the AvMC’s Prototype Integration Facility (PIF) which focused on creating rapid response solutions for the warfighter.  As a project management supervisor, Mr. Carr was responsible for leading teams to capture requirements and managing the cost, schedule, and performance for U.S. Defense, Foreign Military Partner and other U.S. Government agency customers.

DR. MELANIE STAGER
Director, Trophy Business Unit
 

Melanie has 20 years of experience working in the defense industry with roles ranging from complex technical analyses, engineering program management and leadership, to high level strategic planning experience. She brings an analytical and technical background in Survivability to each team she participates in, as well as many years of integration, test and design work.

 

Melanie graduated from Albion College with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, and earned her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame where she wrote her thesis on a novel synthetic technique for Inorganometallic compounds.

KEVIN SZYMKIW
Director, Remote Weapon Systems Business Unit
 

Kevin leads the remote weapon systems business unit throughout execution of production and fielding activities while actively engaging with customers on new business opportunities.  With nearly 20 years of experience in  test, logistics and remote weapon systems he utilizes his technical and leadership background to advance the business unit.

 

Prior to joining RSGS, Kevin spent 18 years at General Dynamics Land Systems, where he held multiple technical leadership roles over complex teams and programs.  Kevin graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.  He has also earned Masters degrees in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University.

Dee Brown
Director, Operations and People
 

Dee is a results-driven HR and EEO executive whose leadership is shaped by two decades of military service and a federal civilian career spent elevating workplace culture, compliance, and performance.

​

Her professional brand centers on strategic clarity, operational excellence, and inclusive leadership. Dee's work focuses on identifying systematic issues, strengthening policy, and equipping leaders to build equitable, and high-performing environments.

​

​Dee graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  She also earned a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University.
